Optimised B2C Online Web

The department of design which I work for is responsible for the design of the website for 12 countries. I designed and optimised part of the Emma, Dormando and Dunlopillo websites. The goal of my work is to enhance the conversion rate, give a focus for the customer and turn users into believers.

 Optimized Boxspring product page for Netherland website

I identified some of the problems our customers were facing on the product entry page for the boxspring bed in the Netherlands. The customer doesn’t get enough information to be convinced into going to the product page. I improved the structure of the website and added some new sections that explain the benefits of the product in a better way.

The problem of the landing page in the UK is that the customer cannot understand that the product is locally made. While a lot of our customers ask us where we produce our products, we did not communicate this well enough. My task was to find a way to let the user understand our product development process. The solution was to redesign the web page in order to emphasize the origin of our product. 

Emma cooperated with Matrazen Concord, a large retail chain in Germany. My task was to create a landing page for this cooperation. The solution is a website where the user can conveniently search for stores nearby while also understanding the benefits of trying out the mattress in store. The web page can be found here

We introduced a new feature for our customers, which is a new installment option. My task was to improve the conversion rate by showing an alternative price next to the total price on our product pages. This had a large effect on the decrease of the bounce rate as well as the increase of the conversions.

 I designed two websites for testing consumer preferred options, in order that more consumers use the personal  product consulting.

Dunlopillo

Dunlopillo is a traditional mattress and bedding brand that has been around for decades. After my company acquiring the rights to use the brand name in Germany, it was my task to let customers know about what to expect from us in the future. I designed a newsletter with the goal of guiding our clients into visiting our website to learn more about our new product portfolio.

One of the functional benefits of the new Dunlopillo is something that has never been done by a retail brand before: 100 days of return. To emphasize on this benefit, I found a way to show this prominently on every product page where the service is offered.

Dormando

Dormando is our online shop for bedding products. My goal was to improve and optimise the checkout process to increase the conversion rate. My solution was a one-page checkout where all the steps are clear from the beginning to the end. This design was very successful in convincing the customers to finalize their order.The page is online already, the link is:

MANAVA

Manava is a brand selling hand-made baskets. I worked for this brand for 6 months as intern during my master time. I am responsible for creating their B2C online shop website and also did part of the development of their brand name and logo. We also did the layout for the website which can be found here:

As an online E-commerce shop, my task is to create a good user experience for our customer. The problem with this page is no search bar, our consumer cannot search the keywords on the website. My task is to design a search bar and let our consumer know how to use it and find the product easier.

Dormando is our online shop for bedding products. My goal was to improve and optimise the checkout process to increase the conversion rate. My solution was a one-page checkout where all the steps are clear from the beginning to the end.
